Junior Leaders visit The Houses of Parliament
On Monday 14th November, representatives of the Junior Leadership Team were lucky enough to visit The Houses of Parliament where they learnt about the election process and voting. Shelianna commented that this was a great opportunity for all of the JLT. She said that she especially enjoyed going to the House of Commons and the House of Lords due to the fact that the colours of each room were different. She added that they learnt the role that each M.P. and Governor played, which, in her opinion, is very educational, yet fun and exciting.
After returning back to school, we discovered through Twitter that Norah, who is in 5 Cedar, had won Big Ben for being Monday's winner of 'The best thing about Parliament...' competition. Congratulations to Norah.
