Key Stage 1
Each half term Key Stage one children will be given a range of homework activities linked to our current topic to complete alongside their daily reading.
The children will be able to choose from different activities with the aim of collecting ten points. Documented within the booklet will be some tasks that are worth one point, three points or five points. You and your child can choose what you would like to do but remember you need to collect ten points each half term.

Key Stage 2
At Mulgrave Primary School we strive to set weekly maths and literacy homework that is fun, accessible and challenging. Homework will cover new learning so that parents can see what children have been learning in school each week. Spellings based around current learning and topics are also set for children to practise at home.
Children are set homework on a Friday and this should be returned by the following Tuesday. Parents are encouraged to discuss homework with children, talking about learning in class and any challenges and achievements that they have had during the week.
