Mulgrave choir has been running for around 5 years and are one of the most successful choirs in Greenwich. The choir consists of children that range from Year 1 to Year 6, so quite a mix of different ages!
Being part of choir has been a great opportunity for the children of Mulgrave to take part in so many events over the past few years. They have been to O2 to sing at the Young Voices Concert, at Corelli College to sing with the GSMA and they have sung at the Thames Festival in the Scoop near Waterloo. This is just a small flavour of events we have attended.
On Friday, 27th January 2017 the Choir were invited along to the Town Hall for the annual Holocaust Memorial Service. Images from the service can be viewed here.
Last year the choir were fortunate enough to be awarded the Lead Choir 2015/2016 by Greenwich Music Hub. This was a great honour and privilege and gave the children the opportunity to sing at both the Festival Hall and Blackheath Concert Halls.
If you would like to see and hear our choir, they are due to perform at the following events:
- Church Carol Concert at St Mary’s Church on Thursday 15th December at 6:00pm
- The Winter Concert which will be held in school on Monday 19th December at 7:00pm. The children will be singing with the Woolwich Singers.
- The Holocaust Memorial Service in January, (dates to be confirmed). This year the children have pleasure of working alongside The Rev Cantor David Rome from the Lewisham and Catford Synagogue in preparation for this event which will be held at the Town Hall.
